I’m Michelle Jamieson, a working-class, Glaswegian, research psychologist, hybrid, creative author, and current PhD Researcher at the University of Glasgow.

I have a B.A (Hons) in Psychology from the University of the West of Scotland, A MSc in Global Mental Health from the University of Glasgow, and an MRes in Research Methods from the University of Glasgow.

My current PhD research deals with exploring the relationships between ‘Severe Mental Illness’ and employment status across the lifespan. You can learn more about my PhD work on my Research page.

My creative writing is a blend of experimental and autobiographical to explore the meaning and lived experience behind mental health, disability, and working-classness among others.
